Standard Financial Statement (SFS)
Mars Capital will always seek to understand the circumstances of its customers and help them, using all reasonable means available, return to long term financial stability. It is important that we understand your current financial situation to assess the affordability and sustainability of your mortgage and where possible agree an affordable monthly arrangement. To do this we use the following Standard Financial Statement SFS form.
The completed form should be sent to the address below along with your accounts / self assessment (if self-employed) or three months’ payslips (if employed) for each party to the mortgage account plus three months’ bank statements.

The Central Bank of Ireland has published the attached guide to assist you with completing a Standard Financial Statement. Please use this guide to assist you in completing an SFS for Mars Capital or please give us a call if we can be of any assistance.
Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process (MARP) Booklet
Mars Capital has published its Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process (MARP) in our MARP booklet to help you if your mortgage loan account is in arrears or if it is at risk of going into arrears.
Mars Capital will always work with you to try and come to an arrangement appropriate to your particular circumstances and will require your cooperation and commitment to your mortgage to be able to do so.
Mortgage to Rent Scheme
The Mortgage to Rent (MTR) scheme is a government initiative to help eligible homeowners who are at risk of losing their homes due to mortgage arrears to switch from owning their home to renting it as a social housing tenant. The scheme is administered by the Housing Agency and overseen by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
